L. MICHAEL DILLARD
Oklahoma Regional Representative and International Ambassador
Founder & CEO of Century Martial Art Supply, Inc.
Founder & Owner of MAIA & NAPMA

Sensei Mike Dillard began his training in the martial arts in 1969 at the age of 19. By 1972, he won his first championship at Allen Stein's US OPEN in 1972. During his competitive career, he fought in over 300 tournaments, which included being the Captain of the US Team vs. USSR in 1991. Sensei Dillard was the only member of the American Team to win all of his fights. While serving as Captain of the US Team, his team won every team match on the tour. (There were three other US Teams on that tour). He also won Several Oklahoma State Championship Titles. Sensei Dillard acknowledges that he didn't win everything, but he did have a long competitive career from 1969 to 1991. He won the National Finals Championships in 1989 as well as 1991, and then retired from competing. For twenty (20) years, Mike Dillard was also busy doing Action Movie Stunts for Chuck Norris. Shihan Chuck Norris has been his main instructor since 1980. Sensei Dillard has lived and trained in the US, India, and Korea. In the 1970s, he used to be Bruce Bethers' neighbor. Sensei Dillard taught martial arts with Sensei Bethers both in the Shihan Ryu Institute Home Dojo and the Cleveland County YMCA (in the 1980s) in Norman, Oklahoma. He has a Business Degree from Oklahoma State University (OSU). And, he frequently lectures at Oklahoma University (OU) in the area of business and entrepreneurial ship. Sensei Dillard declares, "I am proud to be affiliated with this organization".

Sensei Dillard's Martial Arts Organization Service:

  • Sensei Dillard founded and is the CEO of Century Martial Art Supply, Inc., the largest martial art supply company in the world (which he started in his garage).
  • He founded the largest Martial Arts consulting company in the world, Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA), and he owns the 2nd largest consulting company, National Association of Professional Martial Artists (NAPMA). He prints and distributes two magazines each month free. They support these two organizations and go out to over 25,000 instructors.
