USJJF WINTER CAMP 2001

The USJJF Winter Camp 2001 was recently held in New Orleans, Louisiana from January 19th to the 21st. Hosted by Shihan Mark Barlow of Akayama Ryu Ju-Jitsu of Birmingham, Alabama, the Winter Camp attracted over forty participants from 12 States.

Instruction was held in a variety of topics to include both traditional Ju-Jitsu and the JJIF Competition by instructors from throughout the United States. Participants not only got to experience the best Ju-Jitsu instruction to be found, but had the opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the Big Easy.

Because of the success of the Camp, the decision was made to make this an annual event in New Orleans, so start saving your pennies now!

Below are some scenes from the Winter Camp. Hope to see everyone in 2002!
